Tasks

You will work in one of our Data & Technology Streams:
  • Agile delivery teams work closely with the customer and product management to come up with innovative solutions to current problems.
  • Product teams tackle complex technical problems and combine different frameworks and APIs to deliver new products that set standards in terms of usability and performance. 
  • Infrastructure and support teams manage and operate a large number of server instances for our SaaS customers and ensure the highest availability. The focus here is on release management, data migrations, CI/CD pipeline management and operations.
Specifically, you will have the following focus areas:
  • Design, development, operation and support of microservices - end to end.
  • Define application architecture and implement features according to business requirements.
  • Ensure excellent software quality, through code reviews, provision of internal tooling and documentation.
  • Optimisation of performance, stability and maintainability.
  • Close collaboration with product management, content creators and QA.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in the field of software development, information technology or similar technical focus or comparable practical experience.
  • Ideally 2 - 4 years of professional work experience.
  • Secure programming skills in one or more of the following programming languages: Python and/or Java.
  • Good knowledge of at least one common full-stack web framework, such as Django or Spring Boot.
  • Expert in the use of REST APIs.
  • Experience with messaging & message queue architectures.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Agile development experience (SCRUM)
  • Deep understanding of common data structures and data modelling.
  • Good German and English skills.
  • You should have a passion for writing clean source code and strive to find solutions to complex technical problems.
  • You should be keen to play an active role in the team and to optimise processes and structures on an ongoing basis.
