Tasks
- Formulation of technical and functional requirements to improve our own management software fluid and our client platform connect
- Active co-design and implementation of process optimizations with key users
- Testing and acceptance of the developments
- User support when working with the system
- Management and maintenance of the IP management system
- Identification, documentation and tracking of bugs
- Performing manual tests, including but not limited to functional, system, integration, regression and acceptance tests
- Creation and execution of detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases based on product requirements
Profile
- At least 2 years of experience in a patent law firm or an industrial patent department
- Basic knowledge of IP law, ideally ongoing/started training as a patent attorney, patent engineer or patent paralegal
- Knowledge of IP processes in law firms and/or industry
- Ability to work together in multidisciplinary teams
- Technical affinity and ability to analyze complex technical and functional issues and derive technical requirements for the further development of software products
- Quick comprehension and practical implementation skills
- High quality awareness
- Good command of English and ability to work in a team
- Desirable additional qualifications: Knowledge of ERPnext or other CRM systems, experience with various IP management systems, knowledge or understanding of programming languages (especially Python, Jinja), experience with agile development methods and common tools (e.g. JIRA)
