He studied at the University of Würzburg and the University of Texas at Austin (USA), followed by a doctorate at the University of Leipzig. His main focus was on biophysics, optics and medical technology. His profound education qualifies him for a wide range of further tasks in the field of physics and mechanical engineering. Due to professional stations in various patent and law firms as well as his long-standing engagement in the industrial patent department of a high-tech photonics company, Dr. Schinkinger is able to combine experience from both worlds.
